Abstracts proposing presentations related to the theme are invited for three types of sessions.
Please note the abstract form provided at the bottom of this page needs to be completed and submitted to be considered

Submission Categories:

• Practice-Informed Presentations – Share teaching strategies, lesson plans, or tools you’ve used with your students
  (10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) 

• Research-Informed Presentations – Share findings or ideas from research that can guide or inspire classroom practice
  (10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) 

• Posters – Present your work in a pre-recorded video format (either practice- or research-informed)
  (3-5 minutes recording showcasing your ideas) 

To help you prepare your abstract submission for consideration, please follow this recommended workflow:

Complete the submission template

• Access the Word template 

• Fill out all of the categories

  1. Presenter Information — List all authors with only one corresponding author email

  2. Abstract (150 words)

  3. Practical Takeaways

  4. Activity Guide (200 words) — Fill out only one of the two. For additional  presentations, fill out a new submission with a different title

  5. Resources or Links —Optional

Here is how to use the CMT submission portal.

Submission guidelines:

1. Create a CMT user account and login

2. Go to the "All Conferences" tab in the system and type ELTGG2025 to filter the list

3. Under Name, select "The ELT Go-Getter Symposium"

4. Create a new submission

5. Follow the prompts
