We invite proposals for short talks (10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) and posters (pre-recorded video presentations) for the ELT Go-Getter Symposium, a two-day virtual event focused on AI in English language teaching. This symposium brings together passionate educators who are exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance teaching, learning, and professional growth.
We welcome submissions that are practice-informed or research-informed, including hands-on teaching ideas, research insights, or practical tools that help educators use AI meaningfully in the classroom.
Presentation topics may include (but are not limited to):
AI for student engagement
Teaching mixed-level learners with AI tools
AI in curriculum and lesson design
Using AI to support writing instruction
AI for feedback and assessment
Tools for teaching speaking and pronunciation
Time-saving AI workflows for teachers
Teacher reflection and professional growth through AI
Ethical and responsible AI use in ELT
Whether you're a classroom teacher, a teacher educator, or a researcher, we encourage you to share what youβve tried, what youβve learned, and what youβre excited to explore next. All presentations will be recorded and published, upon agreement from presenters, as Open Educational Resource (OER) Book.
